On Thursday, the women’s retailer Talbots announced that it will cut 370 jobs nationwide. Today, 6 News learned that approximately 50 of those jobs will be lost right here in Knoxville.
The cuts will come at the Talbots’ call center that currently employs 340 people.
A Talbots spokeswoman says that the laid-off employees will receive severance and outplacement services.
