American Security Shredding, based in Asheville, has acquired locally based competitor Carolina Shredding.
The company offers service to all of Western North Carolina and parts of Tennessee. It also has a facility in Gainesville, Ga., serving the northern part of that state. American Security provides both on-site and off-site services at both locations.
“This is a great opportunity for us to nearly double our operations and to continue our growth in Western North Carolina,” President Wes Boyd said in a statement.
