ASHEVILLE — BUILDERadius Inc., which provides software for municipal building departments and others in the building industry, plans to add 60 employees to its operations here.

“We currently have about 35 employees and we’ll be growing that to about 95 employees over the next two years,” company CEO Bill Ward said via e-mail Wednesday. “We expect to hire 30 people between now and the end of this year.”
BUILDERadius, which has offices on Biltmore Avenue, is looking for Java computer programmers, salespeople, data acquisition specialists and data processors.
Ward said the company is in the middle of arranging $6 million in financing through Environmental Data Resources, a company owned by DMG Information. DMGI, in turn, is owned by the Daily Mail and General Trust, a large British media conglomerate. Ward hopes to close the deal for the first installment of that financing, the $6 million, in mid-August.
