Commercial Vehicle’s Concord plant lands contract
Commercial Vehicle Group Inc.’s plant in Concord has signed a deal to make cabinets and other materials for a Navistar International Corp. subsidiary.

Study: Climate-bill changes to add jobs
A study from the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy says additions to the Waxman-Markey bill could net more than 1 million jobs in the United States by 2030.

Company’s new distribution center creates jobs in Knoxville
Melaleuca Inc., an Idaho-based maker of wellness products, broke ground Thursday on a 231,000 square foot distribution center in the Forks of the River Industrial Park.
Officials said Melaleuca will immediately employ several hundred sub-contractors and local tradesman. The company is making a capital investment of $22 million in the construction.
