Your best bet is probably to start networking with the local  SHRM chapter...LinkedIn and of course get registered on our sister website, &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.localjobs.com&quot; rel=&quot;nofollow&quot;&gt;LOCALJOBS.COM &lt;/a&gt;where you can set a &#039;job alert&#039; to notify you of when an HR position is posted.  HR is pretty slim right now, for obvious economic reasons; however, I do see them posted in the market.  Hope this helps.
